1.other用作形容詞作“別的，其他的，另外的”解時，常用來修飾復(fù)數(shù)名詞或不可數(shù)名詞；
如前面有this,that,some,any,each,every,no,none,one等詞時，也可用來修飾單數(shù)名詞。
2.other用在the或形容詞性物主代詞之后時，與單數(shù)名詞連用表示“(兩個中的)另一個”；
與復(fù)數(shù)名詞連用表示某一集體中“其余的，剩下的(人或物)”。
