they是第三人稱的復(fù)數(shù)形式，無(wú)性別之分，代表已提到過的一些人或事，在句中多用作主語(yǔ)，通常放在它所指代的名詞之后，偶爾也可放在它所指代的詞之前。
有時(shí)為了避免顯露性別，they也可以代替he,she或it。
they后可接whom等引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句。

they是主格，只能做主語(yǔ)，放在謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞或系動(dòng)詞前。
但they前面如果是介詞，則要改為them(賓格)。
請(qǐng)大家記住：
介賓這兩個(gè)字，也就是介詞后面要加賓格（賓語(yǔ)），所以介詞后面如果接代詞，都得接這個(gè)代詞的賓格形式；介詞后面如果接動(dòng)詞都得把動(dòng)詞改為動(dòng)名詞（動(dòng)詞+ing），因?yàn)閯?dòng)詞原形不能做賓語(yǔ)，而動(dòng)名詞卻可以。
